With our flaming desire to document the history and story of the 66th Infantry Regiment USAFIP NL, the unknown and unremembered liberators of Baguio City and Benguet Province during World War II; we, the Production Team, who are also grandsons and granddaughters of these veterans came up with an audio-visual documentation project which is shortly called "Project 66". We hope that this documentation effort will serve as a springboard in preserving the forgotten stories of our World War II veterans and will highlight their contribution in defending and restoring our own independence. The output will be a full-length video documentary that will be distributed to the academic institutions as a supplementary material for local history. This charity project will not only benefit the students and veterans but also the public in general. Its management is currently supervised by ResearchMate, Inc., a research NGO and The OSCAR Alumni Community, Inc. and most of its funding comes from public donations through solicitation. Field operations which include recruitment of talents for the war re-enactments, military and acting trainings, shooting, liaison, and utility work were handled by the youth volunteers who composed the Project 66 Team. To date, the team was able to involve 70 individual volunteers from the youth sector, PNP, and AFP.
